Going through the paperwork together
What it is. One-to-one appointments with a trained debt adviser who helps you understand where you stand and what your options are. It costs nothing and there is no judgement.
How it works
The first appointment takes about an hour. The adviser goes through your income, bills and debts with you, then helps you contact creditors and make a plan you can actually keep.
Most people come three or four times. Some just need one conversation to see a way forward.
Asking for help
Refer yourself by phone or message, or ask a school, doctor or support worker to refer you. Nothing is shared without your permission.
Helping out
If you have a background in finance or advice work, the team would love to hear from you. Full training is provided.
