Recovery group
An open Tuesday evening group for anyone working through addiction, and for the people who love them.
Tuesday evening, chairs in a circle
What it is. A weekly group for people working through addiction to alcohol, drugs, gambling or anything else that has taken hold. Family members are welcome too. You do not need to belong to the church to come.
How it works
The group meets every Tuesday at 7:30 PM in the side room at 128 Warren Street. There is tea, a short reading, and then time to talk. Nobody has to speak, and what is said in the room stays there.
Two of the leaders have been through recovery themselves, and they are there because someone once did the same for them.
Coming along
Just turn up. If you would rather have a quiet word first, call or send a message and someone will meet you before the group starts.
Helping out
The group needs people who can listen well and commit to being there every week. Talk to one of the pastors if that could be you.
