Saturday afternoon in the town centre
What it is. A team from the church spends Saturday afternoons in Millbrook town centre, talking with anyone who wants to talk and praying with anyone who asks.
How it works
We set up near the market square from 2 PM to 4 PM with a table, hot drinks and a few chairs. Sometimes there is music. Nobody is handed a leaflet they did not ask for.
Many of the conversations are about ordinary things. Some turn into questions about God, and a few people have ended up at church the next morning.

If you see us, say hello. You are welcome to a coffee whether you want to talk about faith or not.
Helping out
New team members start by coming along to watch and listen. Most people are surprised how natural it feels after a week or two.
