Brought her children, then came back on her own.
I only came because of the children. A friend said there was childcare, and I wanted an hour to sit down.
The children loved it, so we kept going. I would drop them at the room and sit at the back, half listening. Then one Sunday I realised I was listening properly and did not want it to end.
These days I come on Wednesday evenings too, on my own, to the Bible study. It is the first thing in years that I have done just for me.
What I would say to someone thinking about coming
Bring the children. They will be fine, and you might be surprised by what you hear.
